New Teacher Orientation

On behalf of Suffield Public Schools Information Technology department, welcome to Suffield! We have developed an interactive place for you to gain access to all of our valuable online resources. Our goal is to provide you with an outline of the various digital resources, business practices and policies related to information technology that you will need to have a smooth transition to Suffield Public Schools.

The resources included on this site are a combination of How-to videos, links to additional resources, and information on how these resources are used in Suffield Public Schools.

This website will remain active throughout the school year. If you need assistance after reviewing these resources, please consult your Library Media Center or school based support. Requests for technical assistance can be obtained via SchoolDude, our help desk ticketing system.

Again, welcome to Suffield and I am happy to share in this journey with all of you!

Absence Reporting

The Suffield Public School District has engaged Kelly Educational Staffing to manage our substitute teaching program. It is the responsibility of the teacher or paraprofessional to call or logon to the website to report a sick day or a personal day. In other words, if you will be out of your classroom or the district you will initiate a substitute teacher by reporting your absence via Kelly Services.

Click here for the link to submit your absence.

Your school secretary is your primary point of contact if you need to make changes to your submission to Kelly Services or face any challenges using the application.
