Dear Suffield Families,
This year the Suffield School District is providing a new process for students on quarantine to access learning from home. Access to learning at home is available for students who are isolated at home as a result of a positive COVID-19 test or who are on a district-assigned COVID-19 quarantine. (For more information, see the Suffield Public Schools Return to School Parent Presentation [August 18, 2021] posted on the district website).
If your child is quarantined, the Recovery Teacher(s) assigned to your child’s building will reach out to the family with information on how to access learning from home. While in quarantine, students will continue to access the lesson from their classroom teacher through SeeSaw (K-2) or Google Classroom (3-12). Once the lesson is complete, students will then move to the Recovery Google Classroom for support with independent work.
If any materials are needed for at-home learning, these will be left at the school for pick up by parents/guardians.
