Payment Options

Students enter their student ID number into a PIN pad, scan their finger, or scan their school id card at the cash register to access funds from their food service account to purchase breakfast, lunch, milk, or snacks from the cafeteria.

Setup a FREE account at https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ using:

You can track your child(ren)’s purchases and balance even if you don't use it for payment. Families may prepay using a credit card at https://www.myschoolbucks.com/.

Please note: a convenience fee is added each time a deposit is made to the account. (You can distribute the payment among multiple children.) This is a bank fee and does not profit Suffield Public Schools or Aramark.

Prepay with Cash or Check

Prepayment is easy and convenient. It eliminates having to make sure your child has food or lunch money every day.

Send a check, made payable to "Suffield Food Service", or cash in an envelope with the student’s full name, student ID number, and room number.
- McAlister and Spaulding students should give the envelope to their teacher.
- Middle and high school students can give the envelope to the cashier in the cafeteria.
You can use one check for multiple students at the same school. If you have children at different schools, please send in separate checks for each school.

This explains what to do if you believe you have been treated unfairly.

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

If you feel you have been treated unfairly, you can contact the Suffield Public Schools Business Manager at 860-668-3202 or via email or you can follow the instructions below to file a complaint directly with the USDA.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found which be downloaded below or found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
