Grade 3 Curriculum

Mathematics

In Grade 3 math, students deepen their understanding of number relationships, operations, and shapes while strengthening problem-solving skills. Throughout the units, they build fluency with addition, subtraction, and early multiplication; explore how multiplication and division connect; and learn to work confidently with multidigit numbers. Students also investigate measurement, time, fractions, area, and geometry through models, visuals, and real-world examples. Hands-on strategies and clear representations support students as they grow into flexible, confident, and curious mathematicians.
