Transition Skill Programs for Families, Parents, Guardians and Caregivers of Adolescent/Young Adult Children with Disabilities

The UCONN Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDD), in partnership with The State Education Resource Center of Connecticut (SERC), and the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) would like to invite you to this essential training program.

What will I learn? The skills, information, and resources needed to successfully navigate your 16-20 year old’s transition to adulthood, relative to inclusive living, housing, employment, education, and health

Who should attend? Families, parents, guardians and caregivers of adolescent/young adult children with disabilities age 16-20 years; your child is also welcome to attend

When will it be? May 21st, May 28th, and June 4, 2014 - 6:00 to 8:30 pm

Where will it be? At the UCEDD, UConn Health Center, Farmington, CT
