(e) Health Examinations
All successful candidates for employment, except substitutes and temporary employees, shall be required to undergo a physical examination to certify their fitness to perform the job. This examination shall be recorded on a form supplied by the Superintendent’s office with all costs to be borne by the employee.
The Superintendent of Schools may require employees to undergo a physical examination to certify their fitness to perform the duties to which they are assigned where the Superintendent has reason to believe an employee may not be capable fully of performing such duties. Such physical examinations shall take place within thirty (30) days of notice from the Superintendent that the exam is required with the results of the examination recorded on a form supplied by the Superintendent’s office. Such examinations shall be conducted by a physician chosen by the Board of Education and all costs of the examination shall be borne by the Board.
