November 23, 2015 | Notice about Report Cards

Dear Families,

We are sending this email as an apology and to explain why your student’s report card may have appeared incomplete.  After a major PowerSchool glitch which caused several grades to be lost, our teachers spent extra time to ensure that all grades were restored and that the information reported out to families was accurate.  This process took longer as there was more work to be done than usual and therefore printing report cards was down to the wire.  We then had very little time to get the report cards out before conferences so they were not stamped with the honor roll or high honor roll distinction as they have been in the past.

Please know that our honor roll policy did not change as the guidelines remain in the student handbook.  We would be happy to stamp any student’s report card if they bring them to the main office.  We are very proud of the hard work that your students have put forth this marking period and in the future we will continue to stamp the printed report cards.
