Sound of Music Production

The halls are alive with the sound of music here at the Middle School.  The drama club has been working so hard to create “Getting to Know…The Sound of Music” and it is unbelievable.  The sets are outstanding, the signing is magnificent and the acting is fantastic.  Even the back stage crew worked hard to ensure the production ran smoothly.  The students were able to preview the play on Friday morning and it was open to the public both Friday and Saturday nights.   Each performance was better than the last.  Congratulations to the drama club for working so hard to create such an amazing production which I am sure will be one of many people’s “favorite things”.

GO RED FOR WOMEN!
February 2015 – National Heart Month

P.R.O.M.I.S.E. Girls encouraged Suffield Middle School students and staff to exercise and eat healthy last month! They put together heart healthy cards with red heart lollipops and a reminder to wear RED on Friday, February 6th which was the national Go Red for Women day.

The girls also organized a donation day in February and collected $429.77 for the American Heart Association thanks to the kind hearts of our students and staff!
